I started my
academic career as an Assistant Professor in 1982 at Zhejiang University
(China). After obtaining my Ph.D., I joined the faculty of the University of
Warwick (UK) in 1994. I sit on the Management Board of the Centre for Discrete Mathematics and
its Applications; am Senior Associate of the Centre for Complexity
Science.
