Over the last twenty years, a number of properties in birational algebraic geometry have found analogues in symplectic geometry. To facilitate interactions between algebraic and symplectic geometers, and as part of activities supported by the FRG-grant on Gromov-Witten theory, we are organizing a weekend workshop on Symplectic Birational Geometry and its connection to algebraic geometry.

Participants are expected to have some familiarity with the subject.

Partial support available for graduate students, postdocs and other early career researchers. Please specify in the registration form.
