Eligibility for BBSRC Studentships at Warwick Doctoral Training Centres

You must satisfy a residence requirement AND an academic requirement to be eligible for a fully-funded studentship.

Residence

British nationals who have lived in the UK all their lives are eligible.
Also eligible are non-British nationals who have settled status (which is accorded to those who are resident in the UK and either have indefinite leave to remain or right of abode) AND have been resident in the UK for 3 years immediately prior to the date of the start of the course.
European Economic Area nationals who have been resident in that Area for the past 3 years AND are working in the UK at the time of the start of the course (or their spouse or (step)parent are) AND are resident in the UK at the start of the course are eligible as EEA migrant workers.
European Union nationals are in any event eligible for a fees-only award, and, in the event of receiving such an award, would have to make separate arrangements to defray the costs of shelter and subsistence.
International prospective students need to make sure they know the relevant facts about fees and funding; specific information relevant to your country of origin is also available. Those who do not satisfy residence requirements may find alternative support through Warwick University or the British Council.

Those who have a 1st or a 2.1 undergraduate degree in a relevant field are eligible.

Those who have a 3rd and at least six years post-graduate experience in a relevant field may be eligible.
Those with degrees abroad (as well as, perhaps, postgraduate experience) may be eligible if their qualifications are deemed equivalent to any of the above.
