Title: Realizability of tropical curves

Abstract: The realisability problem is the problem of deciding which polyhedral complexes arise as the tropicalisation of some algebraic variety. In my talk, I will introduce and motivate this problem and some of its most common variations. I will then describe an algorithm to deal with the realisability problem for tropical curves.
