Course Description
This course gives an introduction to graph theory. Topics include
paths and cycles, planarity, and colorability. We will discuss the
application of some of these topics to real world applications.

Exams
There will be two midterms and a final.
Midterm 1 : Thursday 10/7 in class.
Midterm 2 : Monday 11/8 in class.
Final Exam: Friday, 12/17, 8am - 11am. SEC 206

Homework
There will be (approximately)
weekly homework assignments. Homework assignments and due
dates will be posted here.
You are encouraged to work together on the exercises. Any graded
assignment, though, should represent your own work. No late homework
will be accepted in any circumstance. The lowest homework score will, however, be dropped when computing your grade. There may also be occasional quizzes.

Grades will be based on the following percentages.
Homework/quizzes: 20%
Midterm 1: 20%
Midterm 2: 20%
Final: 40%
