Homework, Quizzes, and Workshops
There will be weekly homework, selected from the problems posted on
the main Math 151 page here.
The specific assignment will be posted on the schedule page. The homework will be due in
the recitation session on Friday.
There will also be occasional quizzes, mostly in the Friday recitation session.
At the end of every workshop session you will be assigned a question
to write up carefully. One of the goals of this exercise is to learn
to communicate mathematics, so half of the grade for each workshop
will be based on your exposition. The workshop problem will be due at
the start of the following workshop.
You are encouraged to work together on the exercises. Any written
assignment, though, should represent your own work. No late homework
or workshops will be accepted under any circumstance. We will, however,
drop the lowest homework and workshop scores when computing your grade.
